🚘 What to Expect on Pickup & Delivery Day (Step-by-Step Timeline)
Introduction
It’s pickup day. Your vehicle is ready, the driver is on the way, and you’re wondering what happens next.
At Anapa Logistics, we keep the entire process transparent and simple from start to finish.
Here’s what to expect before, during, and after pickup and delivery so everything goes smoothly and stress-free.
1. Before Pickup
Once your carrier is assigned, you’ll receive:
📞 Driver’s name, phone number, and estimated arrival time.
📍 Pickup window: Usually 1–5 days after booking.
🕓 Notice: Drivers call or text 2–4 hours before arrival.
✅ To prepare:
Remove personal items and toll passes.
Wash the vehicle for clear inspection photos.
Keep the gas tank ¼ full (not full).
Make sure your battery is charged and tires are inflated.
Clear any obstacles around the pickup area.
💡 If access is tight, choose a nearby open space: shopping centers, wide streets, or truck stops work great.
2. Driver Arrival & Inspection
When your driver arrives:
They’ll greet you and walk around the vehicle with you.
A full inspection with photos will be done through your eBOL (Electronic Bill of Lading) system.
You’ll review and sign the eBOL digitally to confirm pickup condition.
📷 Geo-tagged photos are attached automatically, this protects both you and the carrier.
🛡️ This is your vehicle’s “before” record, essential for insurance and delivery verification.
3. Loading the Vehicle
Depending on trailer type:
Open transport: Vehicle is driven or winched onto a multi-car trailer.
Enclosed transport: Soft straps secure your vehicle inside a covered trailer.
Drivers use ramps and tie-downs designed for your specific vehicle type.
⚙️ We never use metal chains on passenger vehicles, only soft straps or wheel nets to protect suspension and paint.
4. During Transport
Your vehicle is now safely en route.
While in transit, you can expect:
Regular driver updates (optional text updates available).
GPS tracking on select carriers.
Estimated delivery date provided upfront, most shipments arrive within 3–7 days depending on distance.
💬 We’re always available for ETA updates, just text or call your dispatch contact.
5. Before Delivery
Your driver will reach out 24 hours before delivery to confirm drop-off.
To prepare:
Make sure someone 18+ is available to sign.
Have payment ready (if due at delivery).
Choose a location accessible for a large trailer (60+ feet of space).
💡 If your home isn’t accessible, we can meet at a safe nearby spot, such as a parking lot or wide street.
6. Delivery Inspection
Once your vehicle arrives:
1️⃣ The driver will unload it and perform a final walk-around with you.
2️⃣ A second set of geo-tagged delivery photos is added to your eBOL.
3️⃣ You’ll review and sign electronically to confirm receipt and condition.
If you notice any damage (rare but possible):
Note it directly on the eBOL before signing.
Take clear photos.
Notify your Anapa representative, we’ll start the claims process immediately.
🧾 Once signed “received in good condition,” the shipment is considered complete.
7. Payment
Payment is due at pickup or delivery (as listed on your quote).

Delivery confirmation
Optional review request (we appreciate your feedback!)
🗂️ All records are stored digitally for 12 months, easy to retrieve if needed later.
9. Common Questions
